Making the decision to divorce can be daunting, painful, and life changing for couples and their families. Over 50% of marriages in the US end in divorce. Divorce is associated with depression, financial hardship, loss of partner, hopes, dreams, and lifestyle.

Research shows that divorcing couples who mediate the terms of divorce have longer lasting settlements which better protects the interests of their children than those imposed by the court.

I help couples:

  • Mediate conditions and terms of divorce, including custody and visitation

  • Educate about legal and emotional aspects of the divorce process

  • Prepare a memorandum of the proposed terms of the agreement to present to attorneys/court

  • Less costly than a traditional divorce process

As a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), I act as a gatekeeper to protect the public from employees who violate DOT drug testing policy.  A SAP determines if an employee can return to drive a school bus, commercial truck or train, fly a plane or work on an oil tanker or a gas pipeline.

  • Provide recommendations for appropriate education and/or treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare and case management services

  • Report the employee’s compliance/noncompliance to the employer

  • Perform follow-up evaluations before returning to safety-sensitive duties
