Supplanter Counseling Services

We conduct drug and alcohol evaluations requested by the Court, attorneys, probation and other agencies. In response to the significant risks posed to the public by employees who use substances while engaging in safety sensitive occupations, employers often seek SAP services to determine if it is safe for an employee to drive a school bus, commercial truck or train, fly a plane or work on an oil tanker or a gas pipeline.

We recognize the challenges individuals who struggle with substance abuse and addictions face. To meet their needs, Supplanter Counseling focuses on relapse prevention, harm reduction and strength-based techniques. In addition, we offer family counseling, which includes substance abuse education to help loved ones understand their role in the client’s recovery.

We offer testing to rule out alcohol and drug use. Supplanter Counseling has contracted with Affinity eHealth, Inc., a provider of testing services for 15,000+ licensed professionals nationally. Random drug tests are conducted at local facilities which collect urine specimens. Urine drug screen testing is a method used to improve the success rate of people who are committed to the recovery process.

We work with compassion with anyone in need of professional support

Substance Abuse Monitoring

Substance abuse can simply be defined as a pattern of harmful use of any substance for mood-altering purposes. “Substances” can include alcohol and other drugs (illegal or not) as well as some substances that are not drugs at all.
